Accelerating Translational Research
Center for Advanced Models and Translational Sciences and Therapeutics
At the Center for Advanced Models for Translational Sciences and Therapeutics at University of Michigan Medical School, scientists strive to accelerate the "bench to bedside" process in biomedical research and drug development. CAMTraST's mission is to develop advanced models for translational sciences and therapeutics as part of the University of Michigan Medical School. Its leaders have assembled talents in molecular biology, embryology and animal reproduction and the team is among the first in the world to establish rabbit embryonic stem cell lines to generate cloned rabbits and to produce knockout (KO) pigs. www.camtrast.med.umich.edu
