Tuteach In The Community
The STEM Ed Network offers programs that integrate science and mathematics scholarship with education, laboratory projects, and pedagogical research. Our teaching majors, which are part of the TUteach program, are full science majors that include pedagogy and field experiences. Students completing one of these majors have two full credentials: a baccalaureate degree in the STEM discipline and a Pennsylvania Level I teaching certificate.
STEM majors and TUteach students have many opportunities to participate in STEM internships on campus and in our community. Programs for in-service teachers include advanced workshops, technology-infused STEM instruction, continuation of professional education, and more.
