GSA Spotlight TV is coming to Austin, TX!

    Nov 10, 2019 12:11 am | no comments

WebsEdge/Health will be Austin Texas 13-17 November at the GSA Annual Scientific Meeting.

GSA Spotlight TV serves to raise the visibility of the very best practices in Gerontological Research. We will be there to show you the Gerontological Society of America Annual Science Meeting.

The Gerontological Society of America (GSA) is the oldest and largest interdisciplinary scientific organization devoted to the advancement of gerontological research, learning, and practice. Through its Annual Scientific Meeting, GSA offers nearly 4,000 international professionals in the field of aging the opportunity to learn the latest trends and development from industry leaders, build strategic partnerships to address aging challenges, and network with peers.

The 2019 GSA Annual Scientific Meeting theme is “Strength in Age—Harnessing the Power of Networks,” selected by 2019 GSA President Dr. S. Michal Jazwinski, professor of medicine and professor of biochemistry at Tulane University and director of the Tulane Center for Aging.

Various realms of human activity involve components, connections, and systems: economics, education, mathematical theories, tissues, cells, molecules, health care, families, races, religions, gender, wealth, human behavior; and societies. The 2019 GSA Annual Scientific theme seeks to answer questions such as:

“How will we harness social capital in the service of an aging population?”

“How can we ameliorate cognitive decline?”

“How do we combat decline and frailty at the cellular, physiologic, and patient levels?

Where to watch GSA Spotlight TV

During GSA 2019 you will be able to watch GSA Spotlight TV on screens around the center, online and in your hotel room. So be sure to keep an eye out as you may see us filming around the center and on set!
