Our forests face existential threats from climate change. Our forests’ future depends on our ability to help foresters and others who manage our forests to deeply integrate climate science into their work—both helping forests to overcome climate change threats and to better slow climate change by trapping more carbon.
The Northern Institute of Applied Climate Science has created the most cutting edge model for making this science-into-practice connection and is partnering with American Forests to spread the NIACS approach as widely as possible.
